About Me

Hello all, My name is Joanna Elizabeth and I am a Photographer currently based in Nottinghamshire and Edinburgh. I started out with photography when I studied it for an A Level in Sixth Form. I've always had an eye for aesthetic and for me taking photographs is a beautiful and enjoyable way for me to capture that aesthetic.

I have just finished my Drama School Degree where I had been training as a performer and creator. Whilst at Drama School I took every opportunity to get to use my camera and keep up my photography.

I primarily focus on shooting portraits as I am a people person. I love getting to know people face to face and then I love getting to know them more through the lens.

For me as a performer I know how important photographs are in capturing the essence of who / what you are.

A headshot session with me consists of a 1-3 hour shoot which can be either indoor or outdoor or both depending on your preferences. (When shooting indoors I tend to use my indoor studio lighting kit in order to make sure you are fully lit for your shoot.) Followed by a contact sheet that will be sent to you within the next 2-3 days where you can select the photographs you wish to have edited from. And then your photographs will be edited and sent back to you within two weeks. However, if you have any queries or other requirements please do contact me.
